Training | HubSpot | How to Add an Associated Contact to a Company

  1. In HubSpot, go to the Companies tab.

  2. Select the company you want to update.

  3. On the right-hand side of the company record, click Add Contacts.

  4. Choose Add an Existing Contact.

  5. Search for the contact you want to associate (e.g., Breedon Scott).

  6. Select the contact and click Next.

  7. Choose an Association Label, such as:

    • Primary Member

    • Team Member

  8. If a Primary Member already exists, HubSpot will show the label in red and prevent assigning a second primary member.

  9. In this case, select Team Member instead.

  10. Click Save.

  11. The contact will now appear under the company’s associated contacts.
